El Siete opening date and further details
Harts Group is delighted to announce the opening of El Siete on the 14th of March.
El Siete, Soho’s new agave-led cocktail bar will open on Saturday 14th March beneath El Pastor, in the heart of Soho. The 60-cover space, designed in collaboration with Macaulay Sinclair draws on Mexico City’s brutalist and modernist architecture, with specific attention to the timeless work of Luis Barragán.
Guests will enter through a discreet pink door on Brewer Street into a low-lit cocktail lounge. The room will centre around a terrazzo-topped island bar, with leather-trimmed lean bars that encourages real engagement between guest and bartender. The rest of the seating includes low-slung banquettes, poseur stools and vintage marble tables.
The cocktail programme, developed with long-time collaborators Giles Looker and Michael Butt of Soulshakers, brings modern Mexican bartending to Soho. The menu is structured around the number 7, with seven best-in-class margaritas, seven agave cocktails and seven updated classics. A tightly curated collection of around 60 mezcals and tequilas reflects a love and passion for agaves, from raicilla and capón to cacao-laced pechuga. El Pastor’s own batch 005 limited-edition mezcal, made in partnership with Don Guillermo Abad (a fifth-generation master mezcalero) will make its debut here.
To fuel the night, a short menu of seven mini tostadas made from El Pastor’s house-nixtamalized 100% heirloom corn tortillas and chile de árbol popcorn offer perfect boozy snacking.
The music brief is ‘cosmic cantina, carefully considered and with a Latin lean’. Playlists have been created in partnership with Playlister, supplemented by a rotating programme of guest mixes from cultural figures, designed to lift the room at select moments.
The first three guest mixes are from Tommy Gold (March – April), Lee Tiernan (April – May) and Kim Turnbull (May – June)
El Siete will open on Saturday 14th March 2026 at 66-70 Brewer St, Soho, London W1F 9UP.
